Bank of England seeks input from businesses on digital pound
The Bank of England is to start a series of conversations with businesses on the likely impact of a digital pound.
Digital Pound
If issued, the digital pound would be subject to strict privacy standards. It would be intended for payments, non-interest-bearing, and subject to an initial cap on holdings.
